Shanahan University Announces 50% Tuition Scholarship for Pioneer Medicine & Surgery Students

Shanahan University, Onitsha, is pleased to announce a landmark tuition scholarship for students admitted into its Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program for the 2024/2025 academic session.

As part of the University’s commitment to promoting access to quality medical education, the Founder and Chancellor, His Grace, Most Rev. Valerian Maduka Okeke, has approved a 50% tuition scholarship through the Shanahan Educational Foundation—an independent body set up to support educational advancement.

With this scholarship, pioneer students in the Medicine and Surgery program will pay ₦1,500,000, which represents half of the standard tuition fee.

The scholarship is not a one-time offer; it is designed to last through the entire duration of the MBBS program, provided recipients maintain academic excellence and exhibit good conduct throughout their stay at the university.

It is important to note that accommodation fees are not included in the scholarship and are to be paid separately by the students.

This initiative reflects the founding vision of Shanahan University—to nurture a new generation of morally upright, highly skilled, and community-driven medical professionals who will make lasting contributions to society.
