07. E-Library Services
Some e-library resources are provided through third-party library platforms, databases and publishers. To give you access, we may share limited information with them, such as your library ID, your institutional login, or confirmation that you are an active member of the University. These providers may keep records of the resources you access under their own privacy policies.

You can help keep your account safe by keeping your password private, locking your device, and signing out of the App on shared or borrowed devices.
Some of our service providers, such as cloud hosting and notification services, may process information on servers located outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your information remains protected to a standard consistent with the NDPA.

We will complete your request within 30 days of verifying it. Deletion removes your App sign-in access, notification tokens, app preferences, diagnostic data linked to you, and uploaded files that we are not required to keep.
Some records cannot be deleted, because the law or our regulators require the University to keep them after your App account is closed. These include your core academic record (results, transcripts and awards) and your fee payment records. We keep these securely, for the periods described in section 10, and use them only for those purposes.
