The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) at Shanahan University prepares students for the professional practice of pharmacy. The programme is grounded in the pharmaceutical sciences: pharmaceutics, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry and pharmacognosy, together with the biomedical sciences that underpin the safe and effective use of medicines.

The Pharm.D is a clinically oriented professional degree. It emphasises patient-centred pharmaceutical care: the pharmacist’s role in advising on medicines, monitoring therapy, and working with other health professionals in the care of patients.

The degree is offered in the University’s 2026/2027 undergraduate admissions cycle, and enquiries are handled through the Admissions Office.
