The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Shanahan University studies the theory and practice of intelligent systems. The programme builds on solid computer science foundations: programming, algorithms, data structures, mathematics and statistics. On that base, students study machine learning, knowledge representation, and the analysis of data at scale.
Study in the programme balances principle with practice. Students learn how intelligent systems are designed, trained, evaluated and deployed, and they examine the responsible application of these systems: fairness, privacy, safety and the social consequences of automated decisions.
