Tuition & Scholarship Structure

Year 1 2026/2027 New Students Actual Tuition

Newly admitted students for the 2026/2027 intake pay the actual approved tuition fee for their respective programmes.

Year 2 Existing Cohort 10% Tuition Scholarship

Students continue to enjoy the 10% tuition scholarship awarded to their cohort by the Shanahan Education Foundation from their first year.

Year 3 Pioneer Cohort 50% Tuition Scholarship

Students continue to enjoy the 50% tuition scholarship awarded to their cohort by the Shanahan Education Foundation from their first year.

The Year 2 and Year 3 scholarships belong to those existing cohorts and continue for the duration of their programmes. They are not offered to newly admitted 2026/2027 students.

Cohort Tuition Support

10%

Year 2

Continue on the 10% tuition scholarship awarded from their first year.

50%

Year 3 Pioneer Cohort

Continue on the 50% tuition scholarship awarded from their first year.

These scholarships continue for the duration of their respective programmes. The Shanahan Education Foundation is a body distinct from Shanahan University but committed to supporting and advancing the University’s educational mission.

Academic Excellence

Full tuition scholarship for one academic year

Awarded to the overall best student in each department, in recognition of academic excellence and outstanding performance.

Scholarships apply only to tuition fees. They do not cover accommodation, feeding or other compulsory fees.

Tuition Payment Options

Full Payment

100%

Payment of 100% of the tuition fee at once.

Two Instalments

50% + 50%

50% payment at the beginning of every semester.

Three Instalments

40% + 30% + 30%

Between the beginning and end of the first and second semesters, but before examinations.

Year 2 and Year 3 tuition scholarships are sponsored by the Shanahan Education Foundation and continue for the duration of their respective programmes.

Scholarships apply only to tuition fees and do not cover accommodation, feeding or other compulsory fees.

All fees, once paid, are non-refundable, including in cases of expulsion or a decision by a student not to continue.

The overall best student in each department receives a full tuition scholarship for one academic year.

Transfer/transaction charges should be expected when making payments through the University’s online payment platform.

These charges are collected by Paystack, the University’s payment gateway provider, and do not form part of the fees charged by Shanahan University.
